PSI-Ops® Series, #3

Paranormal Shifter Military Special Ops Romance. Book Three in the PSI-Ops series (Immortal Ops World).

Miles "Boomer" Walsh is the team loner, and that's exactly how he likes it. A cat-shifting PSI operative with a Goth punk edge, piercings he can't stop adding, and a past dark enough to make him flinch at a simple touch, Boomer keeps the world at arm's length. The only beings he lets close are the abused big cats at the rescue facility he secretly owns and operates. He understands them. They understand him. Everyone else can keep their distance.

Then Haven Carey shows up at his door, and distance is no longer an option.

Haven has given up everything—her career, her safety, her entire life—to hunt down the man she believes murdered her brother. When she finally comes face to face with the tall, dark, and dangerous operative at the center of it all, she does what any grieving sister would do: she tries to kill him.

It's not the first time a woman has tried to end Boomer. But this time, his cat doesn't fight back. This time, something primal in him recognizes her—demands his total surrender to whatever this fierce, furious woman has in mind. The problem is, Haven's version of the truth and the real story don't match. And by the time they untangle the lies from the betrayal, the real enemy may already have them both in its crosshairs.

Some cats can't be tamed. Some don't want to be.
